Jeanne Clery Campus Security Report And Policy:
The security policies at The Liberty Institute are designed to protect the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff and visitors, including providing timely notifications in safety emergencies. This page also details the history of crimes and other offenses at our school over the past three calendar years.
Drug and Alcohol Policy:
The employers that hire our grads are tough on drug abuse, and so are we. The Liberty Institute has a strong Policy on Drugs and Alcohol to protect the safety of our students, faculty and staff.
Student Right to Know Act Disclosures:
Information about the Graduation/Retention Rates for students enrolled at The Liberty Institute, and other important school information is stored at the National Center for Education Statistics web site and NJDOE & DOL and WD.
Student Loan Counseling Requirements:
The Liberty Institute DOES NOT uses the Department of Education’s Federal Direct Student Loan web site to perform student loan counseling. Your results will NOT be sent to the Financial Aid Office electronically upon completion.

The Liberty Institute has a policy against copyright infringement, including the illegal downloading and/or sharing of electronic media files.
Transfer of Credit Policy:

It is important for students to understand the School’s academic policies. The Liberty Institute maintains academic standards and performance measures to ensure that our graduates are well prepared to succeed in the workplace.
How to Apply for Financial Aid/Assistance:
** Liberty Institute does not participate in Federal Financial Aid Program at Present.
Of course, our Financial Aid/Assistance Office is ready to help students through the entire financial aid process. However, students can also “do it themselves” or learn more about the application process by utilizing this link that gives students detailed application information. You may be eligible for State, County or Jersey City funded training programs and NJDVR.
Rights and Responsibilities of Students Receiving Financial Aid:
The Liberty Institute wants students to understand the requirements to receive financial aid, and their rights throughout the process.
Withdrawal, Refund and Return to Title IV Policies (Not Applicable at present)
These policies are applicable for students who withdraw or otherwise fail to complete their program of study at The Liberty Institute.
Financial Aid Code of Ethics (N/A):
The Liberty Institute has created a set of rules for our interactions with student loan lenders to ensure that our students are always given unbiased advice about education loan providers if applicable.
The Liberty Institute Institute encourages students to be active participants in the American political system as part of being responsible members of their community. Further, each year the school celebrates “Constitution Day” on September 17 and offers activities to educate our students about the U.S. system of government and their role within it.
